2013: February 26-27;  July 30-31

Illinois Bar Exam Format

The Illinois Bar Exam lasts two days.  On the first of the Illinois Bar Exam, a Multistate Performance Test question, six Multistate Essay Examination questions, and three Illinois state law questions are given.  On the second day, the Multistate Bar Exam is administered. 

Illinois Bar Exam Scoring Information

The essays count for 43% of your score one the Illinois Bar Exam.  The MPT counts for 7% and the MBE counts for 50% of your total score on the Illinois Bar Exam.

MPRE Requirements
